I don't have a digital camera or scanner...how
can I put pictures of my property in my listing?
- MichiganHomesFSBO.com provides photography services. We
can take the digital images for you, or if you have hard
copy photographs we will scan them and put them on your
listing. See Photo
Services.
I tried to upload my photos but the upload failed!
- Your image file is probably too large or the wrong file
type. Your photo image files need to be in JPEG format (the standard web format for photos) and
no larger than 1500 kilobytes.
- See our instructions on how to optimize
your photos.
- If you're still confused or having problems, feel free
to contact us for help.
I'm not sure about listing online. Can I sign up for just
30-days and renew my listing?
- Yes, you can continue your listing month by month if you
wish. We'll send you a reminder a week before your listing
expires. You can renew your listing by logging into your
account and clicking "renew listing".
What if my property sells before my listing expires?
- You can deactivate/remove your listing at any time by
logging into your account and selecting "remove listing".
What about displaying "Virtual Tours"?
- If you already have a Virtual Tour you can link your listing to
it by going to "My Account" and selecting "Virtual
Tours". If you would like to order a Virtual Tour of
your home or property it can be ordered from your "My
Account/Virtual Tours" page if your property is located
in one of the counties serviced by Detroit Virtual
Tours.
Each listing, however, includes an optional
slide show of up to six photographs of your property
which you can upload yourself.
Can I have more than one listing at a time?
- Yes, of course. You may have several properties to sell,
lease or rent. Each one can be listed and maintained under
one account or multiple accounts. If you choose to maintain
multiple accounts, each must have a different username and
password.
I want to rent/lease my home...not sell it. How do I advertise
my property?
- Property for Rent or Lease can be advertised in the same
way you would advertise your home for sale. Just select
"For Rent or Lease" as the property type, and
list the monthly rental/lease payment in the box for "price".
- Photos of the property are not required, but will enhance
your listing and give potential renters an opportunity to
view the property before contacting you.
I paid for my ad with an eCheck through Paypal but
my listing information doesn't display with the other listings.
- Because PayPal doesn't consider an eCheck "paid"
until it clears the bank, we don't receive notice of your
payment through PayPal until your eCheck clears. When we
receive notification from PayPal that your eCheck is processed
your listing will display.
