Linen Closet
Take your inspiration from
the department stores and fold and stack your sheets and towels like
they do.
Make sure the folded edge
faces out.
Keep like colors together.
Have separate stacks for
hand towels and washcloths.
Keep closet as spacious as
possible.
Pack away all extras, keep
only what is absolutely necessary for daily living.
Put an open box of fabric softening sheets to elicit a fresh, clean
smell.
Use shelf paper if needed.
Medicine Cabinet
Put away all “personal”
products or medication.
Make sure this area is
immaculately clean.
Keep as spacious as
possible.
Bathroom Cabinets
and Drawers
Keep organized and clean.
Throw away anything that
is expired or “samples”.
Keep as spacious as possible.
One or two empty drawers
will give the impression there is more than enough space in the home.
Hall/Coat Closet
Pack away all unneeded
items.
Make sure shoes are kept
organized.
Keep as spacious as
possible.
Pantry
Throw away anything that
is old or expired.
Keep organized – boxes
with boxes, cans with cans.
Keep spacious as possible
try to empty a shelf or two.
Kitchen Drawers
Clean thoroughly.
Reduce as much clutter as
possible, start packing.
No “junk’ drawers.
